Crecora Manister GAA Club and Crecora Camogie Club officially opened the 750 metre Community Walking Track on Saturday 19th June 2021.
The Track runs around the perimeter of the GAA grounds and is available for use by all in the wider community in the Crecora and Manister areas.
The lighting on the track comes on automatically at dusk every evening and stays on until around 9pm or 10pm, depending on the time of the year.
The gates to the GAA grounds are locked each night but are opened early each morning. If the main gates are closed, Walkers can still access the GAA grounds via the pedestrian gate.
All users of the GAA grounds and walking track are asked to take their rubbish home and dog owners must keep their dogs on a lead and must “scoop the poop” when required to.
The Crecora Manister Community Walking Group organise group walks from time to time, keep an eye on this website for details.
Send a message via the Contact Us page if you would like to be added to the Crecora Manister Community Walking Group WhatsApp Group.
