County Junior Hurling League Division 5 Round 2: Crecora-Manister 0-14 Ballybricken 0-14
LIMERICK DRAW WINNER
Congratulations to Frank Costello who has won a brand new 161 registered car in the April draw. This is the biggest ever win for someone from Crecora-Manister and with the amount of wins last year going close to double figures, everyone has a fantastic chance of winning something. Thank you to everyone who has supported the Limerick Draw over the last number of weeks with committee members knocking on doors throughout the community offering you the opportunity to join. There is still time to join up so if you have not done so already please contact any of our coaches or committee members who will sort you out straight away.
CLOTHES COLLECTION
The Clothes Collection company we are dealing with will pay us Cash for the following items: Clothes (clean, dry and reusable), paired shoes, trainers (tied), handbags, belts. They will not accept duvets, pillows, sheets, bedding or carpets. We’ll collect the clothes on Saturday 16th April (times to be confirmed). We’ll store the bags of clothes in the visitors dressing room at the pitch and they will be collected on Monday 18th April. As per a few years ago when we last did a Clothes Collection Fundraiser this is a joint endeavour between Crecora Manister GAA and Crecora Camogie Clubs. We’ll pool our resources and split the money we get from this event 50/50.
REGISTRATION
A reminder that registration fees are due to be paid. The deadline for any outstanding fees has since passed. Registration fees are a vital source of income for the club and are also neccesary for players to play competitive matches.
JUNIORS
Our junior hurlers had their first win of the season last Tuesday night when they overcame a grityy Ballybicken-Bohermore side by the narrowest of margins 0-15 to 0-14 in round 2 of the all-county league. They were due to play Tournafulla Sunday night 10th April but that was called off due to a flooded pitch in Tour. The footballers are out Thursday in the first round of the City league against our neighbours in Mungret at 7pm. Your support would be appreciated.

U12 SKILLS CAMP
Our Hurling and Football Skills Camp was a great success on Saturday 9th April. We had a great turn out from the players and great work from the coaches……….and we were fierce lucky with the weather, the sun shone and we only got a short shower of hail.
See below our happy bunch of players taking a break during the Skills Camp.
