There was great turn out on Christmas Day with runners and walkers having a chat and working up an appetite before the Christmas dinner.
Money collected on the day goes to the very worthy causes which Goal support in war torn areas of the world.

Crecora Manister GAA Club wish all our players, coaches, club members, supporters, neighbours and friends a very Happy Christmas and a great New Year .
We had another great year with large numbers of players training and competing in hurling and football matches throughout the year.
As a community we had a wonderful day in October when members of the Limerick All Ireland Hurling team brought the Liam McCarthy cup to Crecora pitch, we’ll get some photos up on this website in the coming weeks.
Our club exists due to the help of parents, coaches and the involvement of all the players. In addition we have many supporters who attend our matches, purchase Club Limerick Draw tickets and support our Golf Classic, Table Quizzes and other events.
Thank you all for your support and here’s looking forward to a relaxing Christmas break and another great year in 2019.
Congratulations to our Club Member Paddy O’Neill on winning €100 in the December Club Limerick Draw. Thanks for your support Paddy.
We also wish to offer our congratulations to Muirne Bennis from Patrickswell GAA Club on winning the Star Prize of a car in the December draw. Muirne will be well known to the Irish dancers in the Crecora Manister area and for years has mentored Irish dancers representing Crecora Manister GAA in the Scór na nÓg competitions. Enjoy your win Muirne!
Paddy’s win this month continues Crecora Manister’s great run of luck in the Club Limerick Draws. Over the past 4 years over 30 members of Crecora Manister GAA have won a combined prize pot of €43,850!

Thanks to all our Club Supporters who bought Club Limerick Draw tickets again in 2018. The income the club receives from the sale of these tickets contributes in a significant way to the total amount of funding required to run our club each year.
Representatives from our Club will be out and about again in the New Year selling Club Limerick Draw tickets and requesting your support again for another year.
The Annual Crecora Goal Mile takes place again this year on Christmas day at the slightly later time of 12.30pm.
The one mile route which can be walked, jogged or run goes from the GAA pitch to Crecora Church car park and back to the GAA pitch.
Parking will be available at the GAA pitch and participants are urged to have their cars parked before 12.15pm.
To donate to this very worthy cause, just put what you can in the collection buckets on the day.
Proceeds from the run will go towards Goal’s overseas aid programs in famine stricken and war ravaged parts of the world.
While this is primarily a fundraising event, it is also a fantastic social occasion, so wrap up, get out, bring the dog, meet the neighbours and have a chat while you complete the Goal Mile.
