Club Notes 28th April

Junior Hurlers
Our Junior Hurlers play Na Piarsaigh Tuesday 30th April in the first round of the city junior hurling league in Caherdavin at 7pm.

Minor Hurlers
Our Minors were beaten in the first round of the County Premier Minor Hurling Championship by Mungret on a 2 – 17 to 1 – 14 scoreline. They are down to play Ahane this Friday 3rd May with time and venue TBC.

Under 16s
Our Under 16 footballers were beaten  by Oola in the first round of division 2A on a 4 – 10 to 2 – 4 scoreline.
Meanwhile our Under 16 Hurlers play Ballybrown tomorrow Monday 29th April in round 2 of division 2A at 6.30pm in Clarina.

Under 14s
Our Under 14 Footballers got their division 2A campaign off to a great start with a 5 – 7 to 3 – 2 win away to Pallasgreen.
Our under 14 Hurlers are away to Adare this Wednesday 1st May in round two of the division 2B. Throw in is at 6.30pm in Adare.

2019 Club Draw off to a Winning Start

Our Club Members were busy over the past weeks calling to houses in the neighbourhood. We received great support again for the Club Limerick Draw.

We thank all our  Club Draw Members for your support. The funds our club receive through this draw are vital to supporting th eruning of our club.

The first draw of the 2019 Club Limerick Draw took place on Saturday 27th April and Crecora Manister GAA got off to a winning start with one of draw members, Liam Kelly winning €100.

Congratulations Liam on your win and thanks for your continued support of our club.

Club Notes 22nd April

Junior Hurling
Our Junior Hurlers have their first match of the City League on Easter Monday evening 22nd April at 7pm in Patrickswell.
All support welcome.

Junior Football
Our Junior Footballers meet Father Casey’s in the All County League Saturday 27th April in Crecora at 3pm.
All support welcome.

Minor Hurlers
Our Minors Hurlers play Mungret in the first round of the County Premier Minor Championship this Saturday 27th April in Mungret at 6.30pm.
All support welcome.

Under 16s
Our Under 16 hurlers were beaten in the first round of division 2A by Ahane last Monday night.
Focus now turns to football with a match against Oola on Easter Monday evening 22nd April at 6.30pm in Crecora.
All support welcome.

Under 14s
Our Under 14 Hurlers were beaten by Granagh-Ballingarry in the first round of their division 2B campaign last Wednesday night. The focus now turns to football and they begin their division 2A campaign this Wednesday 24th April away to Pallasgreen at 6.30pm. All support welcome.

Limerick Minor Football
Best of luck to Patrick Dolphin and his teammates who take on Tipperary in the final round of the first phase of the Munster Minor Football Championship on Wednesday 24th April in Seán Tracey Park in Tipperary Town.

Team Limerick Clean Up
A big thank you to all who helped out around Crecora and Manister in the annual Team Limerick Clean-Up on Good Friday.

Club Notes 15th April

Junior Football
Our Junior Footballers claimed a 2-14 to 0-8 win over Monaleen in the second round of the City league last Sunday 14th April. Next up for them is a County League meeting with Father Casey’s in Crecora on the 27th April.

 Junior Hurling
Our Junior Hurlers are down to play the first match of the City League this coming Sunday Easter Sunday 21st April against Patrickswell in Crecora. All support welcome.

 Minor Football
Our Minor Footballers Kilpeacon opened their East Championship campaign with an emphatic 6-11 to 0-2 win over Cappamore in Caherelly last Friday night 12th April. Fair play to the lads for a great result to get off the mark before the leaving cert break.

 Under 16 Footballers
The under 16s open their campaign next Monday 22nd April against Oola in Crecora at 6.30pm. All support welcome.

 Under 14 Hurlers
On Saturday 13th April our Hurlers took part in the Under 14 Feile. They played Bruff and South Liberties. Bruff were a very strong outfit and would not be out of place in higher division. Our lads battled hard and got some nice scores but were well beaten in the end. Next up was South Liberties. This match being between two more even teams there were a handful of scores separating the teams in the end with Liberties coming out on top. St Patrick’s did not turn up so no third game. Fair play to Ken and Joey for the work they put into this group.
Next up is the Championship campaign which starts this Wednesday 17th April against Granagh-Ballingarry in Crecora at 6.30pm. All support welcome.

Limerick Minor Football
Commiserations to Patrick Dolphin and his team mates who lost out to Clare in the first round of phase 1 of the Munster Minor Football Championship last Wednesday.
Next up is a meeting with Waterford this Wednesday 17th April in Dungarvan at 7pm.
