Our lads were down three points with 2 minutes to play but scored 1-1 in the final minute to claim a one point win.

UNDER 9s
The under 9s had a great win on Tuesday against Old Christians in tough conditions. Some stars for the future on display for sure.

Limerick Hurlers
Well done to the Limerick senior hurlers on their Munster final win over Tipp last Sunday and panellist Cathal O’Neill who picked up his first Munster senior medal.
Cathal featured Monday night in the Under 20 win for Limerick against Clare on a 1-27 to 0-17 points scoreline.

Charity Fundraiser
Ger Hickey and Paraic O’Neill would like to thank all those who donated to their respective charity fundraisers for Pieta House and Cystic Fibrosis Ireland.

Junior A Hurlers
Our hurlers finished off their City Intermediate League campaign with a 4-14 to 4-7 win over Ballybrown last Sunday 11th July in Crecora.
We started the slower of the two teams and Ballybrown led at the first water break by 1-3 to 0-2. A Niall Moloney goal brought us level before we were hit by two quickfire Ballybrown goals which left us trailing at half time by 3-5 to 1-4. Our lads came out a different team in the second half and a second goal by Niall Moloney along with fine points from Conor Kirby and Michael Bateman drew us level.
Our lads kicked on with further goals from Micheal O’Neill and a cracker from Brendan Power along with some more points from Conor Kirby and Rory Hannan. Our backs were superb in the second half with some fine performances from Richard Murphy, Tim Moloney and Evan Moloney in particular.
Our lads now regroup before championship commences in August. Team: Ger Kennedy; Tim Moloney, Jack Dalton, Evan Moloney; Cian Leahy, Richard Murphy, Rory Hannan (0-1); Darach Skelly, Cormac Flanagan; Micheal O’Neill (1-2), Tomas Connolly, Colm Carey; Brendan Power( 1-2), Niall Moloney (2-5, 0-5 frees), Conor Kirby (0-4);

Junior B Hurlers
The junior Bs play Feenagh Kilmeedy Monday 12th July in Feenagh at 8pm in the West junior B hurling league.
Cúl Camp
We had a very enjoyable and successful Cúl Camp, jointly run by our GAA and Camogie Clubs.
The Camp ran on the first week of the school holidays, from Monday 5th to Thursday 8th July. We had a great turn out of boys and girls across all the age groups and they enjoyed the hurling, football, rounders and games. Thanks to our Club and County player, Cathal O Neill for dropping in on the last day and going through some drills with the young players.
It was great to see so much activity back at the pitch again. This Camp cannot happen without help from the coaches from both clubs and from the older players who help out and add to the fun and enjoyment for the younger players. Thanks to all for supporting our Cúl Camp, for making it a success and a great start to the kids summer holidays

Charity Fundraiser
Congratulations to Paraic O’Neill who ran 210km from Dublin to Galway Bay before cycling with eight friends from Mizen Head to Malin Head as part of ‘Length X Breath’ to raise vital funds for Cystic Fibrosis Ireland. The challenge is in memory of his friend Cathal Scanlon of Adare who tragically passed away from CF last year at the age of 21. The fundraiser link is https://www.justgiving.com/campaign/LengthxBreath
