City Junior A Hurling Championship: Na Piarsaigh 0-21 Crecora-Manister 0-12
JUNIOR HURLERS
Our junior hurlers were beaten in the first round of the championship against Na Piarsaigh last Saturday in Rathbane. They play Askeaton in the all-county league this Saturday and then have the second round of championship the week after.
JUNIOR FOOTBALLERS
Following up on great wins over Monaleen, Na Piarsaigh and Mungret in the city league, our footballers lost out narrowly at the semi-final stage to a strong Kildimo-Pallaskenry side. We started brightly and after the first quarter the scores were level on 1-2 apiece with the goal coming from Damien Kearney. However, from there to the interval, Kildimo-Pallaskenry dominated and despite a second well taken goal by D.Kearney, they led by 3-7 to 2.3 at the break.
In the second half, with much improved performances throughout the field and midfield dominance, we narrowed the gap. Inspired by some brilliant play by Conor Burke and Darrach Skelly, Crecora-Manister took control and but for some wayward shooting could have made the margin much tighter.
In the end, Kildimo-Pallaskenry ran out four point winners. on scoreline 3-11 to 2-10.

Our lads commence their championship campaign this coming Thursday 30th June against Monaleen in Rhebogue at 7.30pm.

UNDER 14 HURLERS
Our under 14 hurlers meet Na Piarsaigh this Sunday night 3rd July at 6pm in Caherdavin. All support appreciated.
GOLF CLASSIC
Crecora Manister GAA extend an open invitation to their upcoming Fundraising Golf Classic.
Venue: Ballyneety Golf Club. Date: Friday 2nd September 2016. Tee times: 0900 to 1100 and 1230 to 1600 at 8 minute intervals. €150 for a team of 3. 40 teams. Main course with tea/coffee included per team member. Details of Teams, team members, tee times & sponsors will be tracked by Paul Foster.
