Our Junior Hurlers played Na Piarsaigh in the 3rd round of the City Championship on Sat August 10th. In slippery underfoot conditions we came out on top by 0 – 21 to 0 – 18. Na Piarsaigh started better and built up a nice 9 points to 4 lead.
Our team settled more in the 2nd half and switches in the forwards, both positional and subs paid off and we scored some good points from play.
The panel has a nice blend of youth and experienced and if they can continue to work together as a panel they have a bright future.
This team play the Junior All County Hurling League Division 3 Final this Thursday evening in Claughan against Fedamore.
All support is welcome.

Steve Keating, Colm Carey, Niall Moloney, Pa Sullivan, Ger Kelliher, Shane Moloney, Colin Kelly, Mike McCormack , Enda O’Shea, Steve Donoghue, Brian Moloney, Rob Hourigan, Ger Hickey, Fergal Carey, Brian Relihan, Subs: Michael O’Neill, Ian Donoghue, Mike Gammell, Steve Quinn, Gar Sheehan, Damien Kearney, Liam Carey, Tim Moloney, Niall Carmody, Pa Walsh, Cormac Flanagan.
