Best attended AGM of recent years

Our AGM took place in Manister Hall on the 25th November. In what was one of the best attended AGMs of recent years, Chairman Eddie Sheehan started off with the chairman’s report detailing the adult club’s activities during the year.

This was followed by Bord na nÓg chairman Paul Foster giving the juvenile club report. After that, Treasurer John Browne went through the treasurer’s report listing the income and expenditure of the club during 2014.

The election of officers then took place and the list of the selected 2015 officers is below. Outgoing chairman Eddie Sheehan was thanked for his major contribution to the club during the last three years and John McCarthy was elected as the new club Chairman. The upcoming GAA club draw and dinner dance and methods of selling tickets for same were discussed.

Several motions regarding club committee members, membership fees and registration were also debated. In all it was a very productive AGM and please God a successful 2015 will follow.
