Kilpeacon played Granagh Ballingarry on Easter Monday at Crecora in a an U15 Hurling Challenge game.
We used the opportunity to give the lads on the age some valuable game time.
We were a bit sluggish in the first half and this was to be expected as this was our first game at U15 level.
We were missing a good few regulars as many families were away over Easter.
Despite this the Team selected gradually grew into the game and were 7 points to 2 down at half time.

The second half performance was much better and we kept the Granagh Ballingarry keeper busy.
We scored a good goal and were unlucky to see another shot rebound wide off the upright.

The Ballingarry keeper also made one great save.
We were now in control until near the end when we tired a bit as we had no subs to bring on and Granagh Ballingarry got two late goals.

The final score on a lovely evening for hurling was Granagh Ballingarry 2 – 11 Kilpeacon 1 – 7.
