VISIT OF ASKAMORE KILRUSH:
On the weekend of 13th & 14th February, Crecora Manister GAA Club were delighted to welcome our host club from Féile Peil na nÓg 2015, Askamore-Kilrush of Wexford, to the club.
On Saturday morning the under 16 hurling teams of both clubs played a challenge match in UL North Campus which aptly ended in a draw.
Later on that evening, both teams traveled into the Gaelic Grounds to watch the Limerick versus Wexford league game. At 9 o’clock, a presentation of medals took place in the Weigh Inn Ballysheedy. Mass was attended on Sunday morning in Manister and after that the Askamore team and mentors returned to Wexford.
A great weekend was had by all and the Askamore-Kilrush contingent were a pleasure to entertain. This visit has forged stronger bonds between the two clubs and both teams will have many great memories from the weekend.

Our under 21 hurlers (Tory Gaels) begin their 2016 campaign next Sunday 21st February when they are down to play Bruff in Staker Wallace at 4.30pm in the first round of the South Championship.
