Club Notes 11th November

Under 21 Football
Hard luck to our Under 21 Footballers who lost out to Kildimo-Pallaskenry last Saturday in round three of the City Championship on a 2 – 7 to 1 – 3 scoreline.
They have a City B Final to look forward to with time, date and venue for same to be confirmed.

Congratulations
Congratulations to Cathal O’Neill and Rory Hannan who were presented with their Munster Minor Hurling Championship medals last Thursday night in the Woodlands House Hotel.

Table Quiz
Crecora Manister GAA hold our Annual Table Quiz on Friday 15th November at 9.30pm in Yellowtown Pub.
Your support on the night would be appreciated.
At €20 for a table of 4 it’s a very reasonable night’s entertainment and a great way to meet us with players, coaches and neighbours.

Club AGM
Crecora Manister GAA Club’s 2019  Annual General Meeting  will take place on Monday night 25th November at 8pm in Manister Hall.
Come along to hear updates on the past year and plans for the coming year. We welcome assistance of any kind in the running of our Club.

CPR Training:
On Saturday 11th January 2020, the Irish Heart Foundation will come to Crecora National School to give 3 by 1 hour training sessions free of charge to our community members.
This is being organised by Ger Riordan and supported by the GAA Club. We would like every family in the Crecora Manister community and surrounds to have at least one person able to perform CPR.
There will be 3 time slots: 10am, 11:30am and 1pm. Training lasts for 1 hour, is for over 18’s and open to everyone on a first come first served basis.
You can register by emailing gerriordan0@gmail.com with subject: hands for life or text 0879184801 asap with the following details: name, contact number and time slot.
This training is free of charge however there will be a donations bucket, completely voluntary, to get another defibrillator into the community. The more defibrillators we have within easy distance the better for everyone

Dinner Dance
Did you know it is nearly 5 years since our last dinner dance jointly hosted by our GAA and Camogie clubs?
Well with the great success of our now “senior” Camogie ladies we are going to have a celebratory night out once again in the Woodlands House Hotel with the date set for Friday 24th January.
Tickets will be printed in the coming weeks and all will be informed via this website on how to purchase tickets.
