Time, date and venue are still to be confirmed.
A huge thanks to all those in the community who participated in the Team Limerick Clean Up on Good Friday 3rd April.
We had volunteers of all ages arriving at the Crecora Community Centre from 9am to 10.30am collecting their hi-viz vests, rubbish bags and TLC packs.
It was fantastic to see the community out in force like this and the roads look fantastic after it.
We have a great community in Crecora and Manister and hopefully this clean up will become an annual event.
Please Note:
JP McManus sponsor of TLC is creating a commemorative book featuring all the names of all volunteers who took par tin the Team Limerick Clean-up. We took names of the volunteers who came to the community Centre in the morning but we are aware that there were many other volunteers who joined the groups on the roads and got involved.
If you have not already provided your name and address please free text 50123 with the word TLC BOOK followed by your FULL NAME and ADDRESS
If you have any photos please send them to tlc@crecoramanistergaa.com

Our U14 footballers travelled to Askeaton on Monday 30th March to play the home side in the Feile B U14 football semi-final.
The swirling wind and driving rain made the conditions very difficult for both teams but both teams gave their all in pursuit of a place in the final.
Our line-up was similar to the quarter final clash against Adare with Ciaran Kennedy and Killian Scanlon replacing the unavailable Darragh Foley and Colin Coughlan.
We started brightly but scoring proved difficult as shots were either being held up or carried in the wind but eventually we got on the score sheet with a point from Killian Scanlon.
Our 6 defenders were also making life difficult for the Askeaton\Ballysteen forwards with tenacious and disciplined tackling.
Askeaton\Ballysteen managed to nudge ahead approaching half-time with 2 points but a free from Cathal O’Neill meant teams were level at half time.
Play swung from end to end in the second half as both teams searched for the vital breakthrough. Both sides had chances from frees before a free from Cathal O’Neill found its way to the net to put us in front midway through the second half.
Askeaton\Ballysteen came back strongly but the defence led by Joshua Skehan-Fitzgerald and Philip O’Toole showed great determination in dealing with the attack.
One textbook shoulder to shoulder tackle from Joshua prevented a scoring opportunity and we also were fortunate when a shot from the full forward cannoned back off the crossbar.
Our defence stood strong to the end to help us secure our passage to the final.
Squad on the night were: Sam Riordan, Padraig Byrnes, Joshua Skehan-Fitzgerald, Eoghan O’Connor, Colin Haigney, Philip O’Toole, Patrick Dolphin, Richard Murphy, Cathal O’Neill, Chris Shanahan, Jack Dalton, Cian Enright, Brendan Power, Killian Scanlon, Ciaran Kennedy, Fergal Egan, John Bourke, Cillian O’Brien, Rian O’Byrne, Stephen McPartlin, Michael Maher.
