Our young players have been very active over the past few weeks with our Under 8s and Under 10s taking part in Football and Hurling blitzes.
We had some great matches in UL with our U10 hurlers being on such form they played 4 matches at their blitz, and coming away with a few wins.
Our Under 8 hurlers played very well in their blitz considering it was the first blitz for the majority of them.
We hosted an Under 8 Football blitz on Friday 15th May, where we were joined by 2 teams from Ballybrown and 1 team from Kildimo. There were many promising and impressive displays of kicking, catching, scoring and some fine saves.
Our Under 10 hurlers will be in action on Friday 22nd May when we host another blitz.
Crecora Manister GAA had a great win on Saturday 9th May with two of our members in the Club Limerick Draw winning prizes: Greta O’Byrne won €500 and Pauline Costello won the monthly lotto jackpot of €10,000!
A presentation will take place to both our winners at Yellowtown Pub this Saturday 16th May at 10pm – all are Welcome.
This is our first big win in the Club for a number of years, the draw is a vital source of income for the Club. As a Club Crecora Manister GAA have always had a large number of members in the Club Limerick Draw.
For 2015 we have in excess of 200 members.
Thanks to all our members who have supported this draw over the years and to the new members who join up each year.
New members are always welcome to join. At a cost of €10 per draw you can join the draw at any time. Contact Pat Quirke for further information 087 2347077
