Meeting to elect new committee for Crecora Community Centre

A meeting will be held in the Community Centre at 8.00 pm on Tuesday 15th March, 2022.

The current committee members have served to support the centre for many years, and as they are now stepping back from the role, a new committee is required to support this community resource.

This will offer an opportunity to set new direction to benefit the local area, and to ensure the centre’s continued availability.

Representatives of groups who utilize the building, and other interested individuals, are encouraged to attend.

Club Notes 7th March 2022

Social Night
We held our social night last Friday night in the Woodlands Hotel in Adare which was a great success.
Limerick Football Manager Billy Lee was on hand to present our County Championship winning Junior Footballers of 2020 with their medals while Ger Hickey presented medals to the under 21 hurlers who also won County honours that year.
A presentation was also made to Cathal O’Neill to mark his All-Ireland medal win with Limerick in 2021.
There was a fantastic turnout not just from our club members but from the wider community and thank you to everyone for their support of the night and to the organisers for making it a great success.

Walking Challenge
Thank you to everyone who took part in the recent Every Step Counts walking challenge. Crecora Manister finished 7th overall in Munster with over 24,000 steps.
We will be included in a prize draw as a result.
Due to the success of this challenge we have set up a local Walking Group WhatsApp.
This will be used to get a Walking Group committee together and to communicate regarding future walking times, walking challenges and walking trips.
Please pass this message on to anyone in the locality who may be interested.
The walking track and the Walking Group are open to all, no membership of GAA or Camogie club required.
