There were a number of brief speeches on the night from; our Club Chairman John McCarthy, Crecora Camogie Chairman John Lyons and Crecora man and Limerick Camogie County Chairman Seán Condon.

Guest of honour on the night Aileen Lawlor, President of the National Camogie Association delivered a great speech prior to presenting the Crecora Camogie Junior team with the County A Junior medals.

Our other guest of honour Oliver Mann, County GAA Board Chairman presented our Junior Hurlers with their All County League medals.

Over 250 people attended what was a marvellous community event, enjoying food, drink, music, dancing with the conversations going on till early morning.

An event like this takes a lot effort to make it run as smooth as it did on the night. Thanks to all the members of the Crecora Manister GAA Club and the Crecora Camogie Club who sold between them 250 tickets over the past 2 months.

Thanks to all of you who supported us by buying tickets, donating spot prizes, donating towards our new mower and attending on the night.

Thanks to Noel Murphy, John McCarthy, John Browne, Mossy Fitzgerald, Aidan Malone and Paul Foster for their planning prior to the event and their activities in the Woodlands from 4pm Saturday to set up and run the Dinner Dance.
