City C’ship off to a great start

Tory Gaels (almagmation of Crecora Manister and Croom) got their U21 City football championship off to a great start on Thursday 3rd July with a hard fought win over a strong Kildimo Pallaskenry side.

Playing with the aid of a stiff breeze in the first half Tory Gaels were in complete control at half time helped by goals from Seán Fitzgerald and Dan Lucey giving a score line of 2 – 10 to 0 – 3.

As expected, Kildimo Pallas recovered well in the second half and closed the gap to six points

A late goal from a penalty by Kieran Larkin eased Tory Gaels over the line to a comfortable win on the scoreline of 3 – 14 to 1 – 10
