We had a record number of boys and girls in attendance for the 4 day Cul Camp in Crecora pitch on Monday 2nd to Thursday 5th July.
Everyone involved enjoyed the 4 days immensely, where the young boys and girls went through hurling and gaelic football skills, played hurling, football and rounders matches and played a variety of other fun games throughout the 4 day camp.
The hot weather had us taking plenty of water breaks and our local young entrepreneur Richie’s Ice creams provided very welcome refreshment each day.
Our Coaches received help each day from teenage players from Crecora Manister GAA and Crecora Camogie clubs. Two of those helping out were Cathal O’Neill and James Conheady. Cathal played in all the Limerick Minor Hurling matches this year with James being on the panel.
Both Cathal and James were on hand on Wednesday to hand out the Cul Camp gear to all the boy and girls and spent time on Thursday signing hurleys and helmets for many of the boys and girls, some of whom will no doubt go on to represent Limerick in either Hurling, Football or Camogie.
See below a selection of the photographs taken on the final day of the Cul Camp.
