U14 hurling challenge took place v Broadford(Clare) , a good physical game with some good play from both sides and a worthwhile outing for the U14 squad
Feile Peil B game took place v Newcastlewest, we lost out on the day to a physically stronger NCW team , a team who represented the county last year at this level . It is fair to say the Kilpeacon team definitely showed promise for the future.
Feile B hurling first round is coming up at the end of the month with first match pencilled in for 30th March V’s Cappamore away.
Under 21’s played first round of South hurling v Castletown/Ballyagran & Effin combo team in Ballyagran pitch, we lost out on a scoreline 1-21 to 2-05.
A number of the stronger Croom players were not available on the day but there was a good participation our player with Tim Moloney/Micheal O Neill/Liam Quirke/ Conor Burke/Paudie Sheehan/Cillian Rea all lining out with Damien Kearney and Richard Bateman subs.
Next round fixed for Friday 14th March in Martinstown v Sean Og Hanleys.
