This year our Minor Footballers are amalgamated with Croom under the name of Tory Gaels and are competing in the Premier division of the County Championship.

On Friday last 2nd May, we got the season off to a good start with a comfortable win away to Monaleen. Both sides were under-strength on the night but our strength in depth in the panel was a significant factor.

Early dominance by Conor Burke and Ryan O’Shea set the tone and up front Gary O’Connell,  Dean Shinners and Barry Fitzgibbon availed of the opportunities presented.

Three first half goals by Damian Kearney, Brian Cregan and great effort by David Macken had put us complete control by half time. Overall this was a promising start but stiffer challenges lie ahead.
