Our Annual Table Quiz was a great success on Friday 17th November.
We had the biggest turn out in the past few years with 23 table and a great range of ages with a number of tables from our teenage and junior players and their friends and siblings.
The winning team came in at 46 point and with 3 teams on 45 points we had a 3-way tie breaker play off.
Well done to the winning team of: Tom O’Keeffe, Seán O’Donovan, Paul Conheady and Aidan Malone and the second place team of: Orna Rea, Ciara Murphy, Mossy Fitzgerald and Mike Rea.
This sort of an event is a great sign of the club and community. Thanks to all of you who supported this even in different ways: those who attended, sponsors of spot prizes, providers of sandwiches and cocktail sausages, those who could not attend by paid for their table.
Thanks to Kevin Hayes our Quiz Master for yet another challenging set of questions, to Noel Murphy for running the raffle and to Paul Foster for the score keeping and all those who helped on the night with selling tickets.
Of course a big thanks to Tommy for the venue and for his great support to our Club.
