Team: Paraic O’Neill , Cian Leahy, Mark Shanahan, Edwin Wixted, Tomas Connolly, Evan Keogh, Karl Moloney, Jay Mccilligan, , Shane O’Connell, John Blake, Michael Bateman, Conor Kirby, Robert Greer, Jack Dalton, Paul Collins and Peter Boohan.

Great start to our football campaign with a strong performance and fine passing game after our long trip to Ballylanders.
We played against the breeze for the first half and got some lovely scores from JayMccilligan (2), Robert Greer, Edwin Wixted, Shane O’Connell and Conor Kirby. They were well supported by Karl Moloney, Michael Bateman and John Blake.

The real turning point of the game came just before half time when our Goalie Paraic O’Neill made a super save to deny Ballylanders a goal to draw level with us so the halftime score was 6 points to 3 in our favour.

We drove on in the second half thanks to some great defensive work from Tomas Connolly, Cian Leahy and Evan Keogh.
From a free Jay scored a goal and added another point and great points were also scored by John Blake (2) and Paul Collins (2).
