Our Junior hurlers played St Pats in the first round of the City Championship on Saturday June 28th.
In ideal conditions we came out on top by 2 – 15 to 1 – 13.
The game was very close all through and if the 2 sides meet again it would be a fifty fifty game.

With 4 teams going into the semi-finals every match is like an knockout so its great for the team to win the first game.

The team lined out as follows:
Steve Keating, Pa Walsh, Niall Moloney, Pa Sullivan, Ger Kelliher, Shane Moloney, Colin Kelly, Rob Hourigan (0-1), Enda O’Shea, Steve Donoghue (1-2), Mike MCCormack (0-1), Steve Quinn (1-1), Ian Donoghue, Brian Moloney (0-9), Ger Hickey (0-1),
Subs: Brian Relihan, Mike Gammell, Damien Kearney, Dom O’Connor, Liam Carey, Colm Carey, Joe Burke, Tim Moloney, Liam Quirke, Cillian Rea.

The excitement is mounting ahead of the Munster Senior Hurling Final.
