City Junior A Hurling Championship:

JUNIOR HURLING
Our Junior Hurlers were very unlucky to be beaten by a point by St. Patricks in round 5 of the city championship. We now have a must-win game against Monaleen this Tuesday night 16th where victory would see us through to a City semi-final.
Throw in is at 7pm in Mungret and your support is welcome.

MINORS
Our Minor Football campaign came to a disappointing end last Sunday in Clarina when we went down to Croom in the County Semi Final on a 4-11 to 2-6 scoreline. All focus now turns to hurling as we have finished our round-robin stage of games and await other results to see if we have qualified for the county semi final.

UNDER 16s
Our Under 16 footballers had a fine win over a Murroe-Boher/Ballybricken-Bohermore combination last Monday coming away with a 3-8 to 1-9 scoreline. We remain in the hunt for a place in the semi finals but must win our last group game against Pallasgreen next Monday.
Tonight our hurlers play St. Kieran’s and our hurlers too have a chance of qualifying for the knockout stages should they win the remainder of the matches.

UNDER 14s
Despite our recent defeat to Monaleen the under 14 footballers have qualified for the county semi final of division 1 which is a remarkable achievement. They will have a tricky away tie against Newcastle West with date and time for same still to be confirmed.

GOLF CLASSIC:
Crecora Manister GAA extend an open invitation to their upcoming Fundraising Golf Classic.
Venue: Ballyneety Golf Club.
Date: Friday 2nd September 2016.
Tee times: 0900 to 1100 and 1230 to 1600 at 8 minute intervals. €150 for a team of 3. 40 teams.
Main course with tea/coffee included per team member.

Price: €23 – up to 12 years, includes crest, number and name.
€28 – 12 years or older, includes crest, name and number.
