Firstly we want to say that we hope you all enjoyed the intercounty hurling championship for 2023 and the success once again of our “4 in a row “ Champions.

At Crecora Manister GAA we are so lucky and proud to have one of the Limerick stars as part of our own small club . Cathal O’Neill has represented our club and the county throughout the year admirably and played key roles in all the championship games this year. He is a credit to his family, club and county and he has put our club Crecora Manister GAA on the map.

As you can imagine, tickets for some championship games were hard to come by where demand significantly outweighed supply but we hope that you were looked after in some way as best as possible throughout the year. It is an impossible task at times to look after everyone but we want to thank you for your patience and understanding throughout the Inter-county season.

We are now in the Club phase of the year and our Junior Hurlers and Intermediate footballers are going to be pushing hard to win their respective competitions. Your support for these teams along with all our other underage teams would be greatly appreciated. Most of the adult games will be ticket only entry and all details of these games along with links to the tickets will be broadcast across our social media platforms with live match updates where possible on our Twitter page or as it is now known “X” .

You can follow us on Twitter  @crecoragaa or Facebook Crecora/Manister GAA.

There are also a number of ways that you can support our club through sponsorship , membership , fundraising , club Limerick draw etc.

We are proud to welcome on board PBC Builders and Crecora Mills and Storm Harvester who are sponsoring our Adult teams for 2023 and their significant donations definitely make a difference when it comes to team preparation , physio costs , Stats , post game meals etc. We also have sponsors for some of our underage teams such as CE-Tek Medical , CA Sports , BCD Engineering & Breeze Air to name but a few. We always welcome more on board so please feel free to make contact if you know of anyone or are in a position yourself to sponsor a team and have your company logo on their jerseys.

We have an upcoming Golf Classic to raise vital funds for the day to day running of the club which costs approx. €40K to run per year. Tee sponsorship , team entry etc can all be done from the following link where you can also become an Adult member supporter .

Finally , as always we thank you for your support of our great club , you can see the work that has been done to date at the GAA pitch with our walking track and Astro facility and we have more to come including a Club house / community Hub and a players’ Gym and once details of these are announced in the coming months it will be all systems go fundraising again.

Please keep in touch and we will do likewise with you.

Many Thanks
